From an abandoned basketball court into a Street Art Work
Urban Jungle Algeria and the Street Artist SNEAK have transformed the decommissioned JFK basketball field into one of the most beautiful Calligraphy Art works ever made.

We are particularly excited about the project that was carried out in Kouba, one District in the Center of Algiers, as promoters of the country´s first environmental protection and sustainability project, hoping it will be the beginning of a very long series.

Urban Jungle Algeria – in less than a week (day and night) of grueling work and more than 1400 m2 of painting – has redeveloped the old and dirty JFK Basket Court, of the local Woman’s Basket Team – giving it new life and returning it to the neighborhood community.

The work was created by the Algerian street artist SNEAK, who gave free rein to creativity, keeping the iconic colors of Urban Jungle and adding an “Algerian” touch with the Arabic writings, which will almost include the area: an admirable example of Calligraphy Art never done before!

The redevelopment of the JFK basketball court is one of the projects linked to the objectives of sustainability, environmental protection and development of sports activities promoted by Urban Jungle, in the cities where our stores are present, contributing to the social improvement of sports.
